This year has been the best year at MMS in years!!! The racing is better, the crowd is bigger, improvements being slowly made to the facility itself makes for a much better racing experience. The track surface still needs a bunch of work but it's the same surface for everybody, to bad we can't get our mod hooked up on it but hopefully we can figure that out!! Now to the only downside I see...... Poor ole Jayson Boyd, he's a yes man!!! He always tells drivers and fans exactly what they want to hear to thier face, but lot's of time that never happens. Drivers make a joke each week about who Jayson will say made the "bad call" from the previous week!! He trys to be too "politically correct" and that makes him out to be like most politicians,,,,,,,,,,, Lying through thier teeth!!! I'm sure he want's to help out at the track, but keep him away from trying to do any promoting, no one takes him serious!!! If he wants to be in the tower, so be it, but my thoughts is that he would be better off handing hotdogs to hungry fans!!! Thanks again to the real MMS staff, Alica, Calvert, James, Barry you guys are doing a great job!!! One of you guys need to start making ALL internet postings about the track, you guys are also the ones that have the final say, we have found that out a couple of times this year LOL!!! Jayson would tell us one thing and you guys would end up fixing his mistake!!!! Now we don't even ask him!! Well, lets see if this post will stay on this board!!! I am POSITIVE it would be gone on that other board!!! Thanks again to the REAL staff at MMS!!! See you guys next week!!

I was also just over on the 3rd Reich message board and I take offense to his post in the 45 & 45A thread. But since you cant post anything over there that goes against what Das Führer believes I thought I would vent on this board. Jayson it is really not needed for a track official to say. they were at 201 last night for the big race but didnt fare so well in their heats just from what i read, Im not sure though i wasnt there. If you wasnt there why make a comment like this? It not just makes you look like a hater but it looks bad on MMS because you are also representing them like it or not. But i would like to congratulate one of our racers for last nights 201 race, Chase Adams 327 This is also bull you can call Chase one of Isoms own but not the 45's LOL. Tim has been turning laps around that place for 20 + years and he is not one of MMS own, you got to be kidding me??? Hell he should have squatters rights to a piece of land down there he has been there so long. You are also been talking about why the have not been coming to the races, when really you have no idea. Why dont you ask him like I did and that might help explain why he has not been there. I believe your true colors is really showing through. Then congratulating one driver but not another that has been loyal to this place for twenty years Again its nothing personal but track officials should be held to a higher degree of scrutiny than anyone else when it comes to making statements about drivers and the track. I also agree with thefact about the racing is better, the crowd is bigger, improvements being slowly made to the facility itself makes for a much better racing experience. The track surface still needs a bunch of work but it's the same surface for everybody. Thanks Alica, Calvert, James.

I think your alls thoughts ain't worth shit as far as 201 when you finish in the back how do you not consider that fareing to well.. I mean I like tim and andy but you all think that they are god.. Come on... face it you all can say what you want or do what you want they ain't gonna win everywhere and every weekend just cause you all say so....NOW as far as jayson goes I think he has done a hell of a job with isom and if you think you can do any better I am sure he would gladly give you his little pay and let you put up with the bullshit that he puts up with....

When your going for the lead on the outside at the checkered and get put in the wall. That sure as hell seems to me like he was fairing well. I dont got no mouse in my pocket were the hell are you getting the your alls from. Jayson needs to learn to speak as an official and keep everything else to his self.

MMS has shown great improvements this year compared to recent seasons. The group running it this year are really trying. But there is a couple of things i would like to see, mainly something done to the track surface. Not necessarily new dirt but working some organic material into the current surface.

something to hold moisture in the track. couple of years ago the dirt track at lowes worked several tons of sawdust into their track and it really helped make the track more consistent. it doesnt have to be sawdust just something that will hold moisture. Earl always worked some manure into the track at eldora.

i thought u may have meant manure but i was just curious. Lol. I will definitley run this by Calvert and see what he says. The end of the season is approaching quickly so I'm not sure what else he plans to get done, but hopefully we will also be there next year to continue the improvements. I have been looking for a scoreboard. if anyone can help me in my search, please let me know. It would have to be used, the new ones I saw online are $10,000 and i dont have that much money. Lol.

im not saying it has to be done this season. just something to think about for next season. i want to say that the effort that you all are putting it this thing is really appreciated by some of us. mms has been my track for more years than i care to mention and it means alot to see the work you all have put into it. i preached for years promote..promote...promote. how could you expect to draw crowds when some people dodnt even know mms was still running ( true story....last year told a friend i has went to mms and they didnt know it was open). it is great to hear advertisments promoting mms on 103.9

I was just stating my opinion just as you stated yours, I could have done without your profanity but I guess that's all you could bring to the discussion.. I just feel that he is the weak link in the chain at MMS. Nobody like a "yes" man, I would rather be told the truth straight up then lied to. The staff I mentioned earlier are straight up honest people, they will tell you like it is whether you like it or not and I respect them for that. I don't think Jayson really does it on purpose, but it does seem he sticks his foot in his mouth a bunch, kind of like diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain!!! Now lets have a BIG, REALLY BIG mod race!!!!!!!

well well well well the way I see it if you think that mms has a weak link then why do you keep going?? and even if tim was going for the lead and got put in the guardrail it only matters where you cross the line at...and if he crossed the line in the back then he did not fare to well....now lets go to the races and have fun

I just know that this past friday, I seen some great racing in the bomber class and there wasn't even a ruckus in the pits once it was over with and that seemed nice for once.
I just hope the crowd in the stands stays strong now that the schools are all getting ready to start back, that will be the true test for MMS.

Well as bad as I have to say this but none of the track officials follow the rules on the cars, as long as that money comes in no one cares. And as for barry he should be replaced with someone who does not show favoritism. He has made way to many bad calls and some calls that should have been made. And as for the 13 super bomber there is nothing legal on your car that would allow you to be classified in the bomber class, just think about it, its called a SUPER BOMBER, you must know someone to be able to run your car.
