- Huge pileup at start. Conley, Kerr, McCreadie, Kinzer, Wilson all involved... possibly more over in turn two. Similar to heat one when the front runners got together and bottled up the field and many cars in the middle of the pack got collected. Red flag...track is blocked. Conley pulled away. McCreadie as well, but looks to have extensive damage. Wilson on the hook, as well as Kerr...Conley, Kerr, and McCreadie make it back out (crowd cheers!)
- Feger smacks the wall on the restart. McCreadie passes 6 cars in first lap
- Hartman leads over Mars on lap 3. A long way back to O'Neal then Davenport.
- McCreadie to 9th on lap 4
- McCreadie to 8th on lap 5
- Hartman and Mars have checked out up front. 9 to go
- McCreadie is closing in Henry for 8th
- Mars closing on Hartman for 1st. 7 to go

- Erb again take the point, with Blankenship falling in 2nd. Richards to 3rd in impressive move from 5th. Satterlee in 4th, Cook 5th

- Casebolt smoking on the pace laps (although it appears to be of no concern). Casebolt ends up pulling in the pits prior to the start

I was there and I have to say, the most exciting thing for me about the night was seeing Eric Wells win his stacked heat and to make it to the dance. The World 100 itself, in my opinion, wasn't that great of a race, not that much passing going on, first caution was sadly for Eric on lap 83. I was glad to see Bart Hartman to finally get a win but it wasn't the best race I have seen at Eldora.
